• 10 YEARS OF ADOBE EXPERTISE

In 2014, I got to know the Premiere Pro team when we transitioned the Lakers channel. From there I became an Adobe Certified Instructor, helping professionals use Premiere in their workflows, and training 100s of editors including two-day workshops at Adobe’s Times Square HQ. Through private beta programs and the Adobe MAX conference, I keep learning from the most dynamic and rewarding NLE community out there.

  • FREE KEYBOARD LAYOUTS

My comprehensive visual cheat sheets have all the default shortcuts for Adobe Premiere Pro (Mac or PC) and you can download the full-size images for free. Print it out on 11×17 paper, keep it under your keyboard, and speed up your Premiere editing. Remember, you don’t have to learn all the shortcuts! Just changing 3-5 repeat actions from mouse clicks to keyboard shortcuts will save so much time.

  • "THE COOL STUFF" BOOK

Written to be the ultimate Adobe Premiere Pro resource for editors with 1200+ pages of advanced workflows, editing shortcuts, color and graphics tips, and troubleshooting steps. Published by Apress in 2017, this reference book still holds valuable information not found anywhere else. It was an honor to co-author it with Premiere guru Jarle Leirpoll, documentary editor Paul Murphy, and workflow expert Andy Edwards.

  • "DONE WITH DYLAN" TUTORIALS

A series of short Premiere Pro tutorials for editors (like me!) who hated long intros and just wanted the answer. The pancake timelines walkthrough was especially useful to many, and remains a Premiere win today.

  • 20 VITAL SHORTCUTS

In this article for “Cool Stuff” publisher Apress, I share my top 10 mapped shortcuts and top 10 shortcuts that are worth custom mapping in Adobe Premiere Pro.
